What is a Checkout in Kartra?
Kartra Checkouts are flexible, customizable checkout forms that work alongside your Products. While your Product asset defines what you're selling, your Checkout asset defines how you sell it.
With Checkouts, you can:
Enable mobile payments through Stripe Connect (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna).
Create separate checkouts to use with multiple campaigns for the same product, and review sales analytics separately for each.

Checkout types and how to use them
You can create three types of Checkouts:
Kartra-hosted – a full checkout page with its own direct link
share the link with customers directly
or link to it from buttons on your sales pages
Pop-up checkout – a checkout that appears when someone clicks a button
works on Kartra pages or external websites
Embedded checkout – A form you place directly onto a page as a component
use it on Kartra pages or embed it externally
Important:
You can create multiple Checkouts for the same product. However, each Checkout can only use one display type: Kartra-hosted page, embedded, or pop-up. The type cannot be changed after the Checkout is created.
Checkout settings overview
In each Checkout, you'll configure:
Checkout type: Create a checkout page, a pop-up, or an embeddable component.
Checkout design: Choose a template and color theme to match your brand or sales funnel.
Payment options: Accept PayPal, credit card, or Stripe-based mobile payment options (Google Pay, Apple Pay, Klarna).
Important: Some settings like the checkout form fields and terms and conditions are configured in the linked Product asset.
