Kartra provides several ways to customize colors and maintain consistent branding across your content.
Depending on what you're creating, you can use predefined color templates, save custom color palettes, or configure the colors available in text editors.
Use color templates for Kartra assets
Some Kartra assets include predefined color templates that help you customize their appearance without selecting individual colors for every element.
These options are generally available in the asset's Design settings.
For example:
Checkout forms: Select from available design and color options.
Calendar booking pages: Customize the appearance using the available design settings.
Memberships: Configure colors such as Header color and Accent color in the membership builder.
The available options depend on the type of asset you're editing.
Create and manage custom color palettes
Custom color palettes allow you to save frequently used colors and reuse them when designing Kartra assets.
Palettes are available in Memberships, Pages, and email editors. They're primarily used to customize sections and supported components, rather than text formatting.
Create a custom color palette
Open a supported editor, such as the page builder.
Click an RGB color field to open the color selection tool.
Click the three-dot menu.
Select Create palette.
Enter a name for your palette.
Choose a color using the color picker or enter its RGB or HEX value.
Click the plus (+) button to save the color to your palette.
Your palette will be available under My palettes in supported color selection tools.
Manage saved palettes
Under My palettes, you can:
Rename an existing palette.
Add or edit its saved colors.
Delete a palette you no longer need.
Important:
Changes to a saved palette do not automatically update colors you've already applied to your assets. To use an updated color, you'll need to apply it again wherever needed.
Deleted palettes cannot be restored.
Custom palettes are managed through supported color selection tools, not through your general account settings.
Customize your text editor colors
Kartra allows you to configure the colors available in supported text editors, making it easier to apply your preferred brand colors when formatting content.
You can save up to 49 colors in your text editor color selection.
Add or change text editor colors
Go to Settings > Account settings in the bottom-left navigation menu.
Locate Text editor colors.
Click the plus (+) button to add a color.
Click on a color to customize it using the color picker, RGB values, HEX code, or an existing saved palette.
Repeat as needed to configure your preferred colors.
Click Save to apply your changes.
To remove a color, hover over it and click the X.
Your configured colors will be available in supported text editors. If you already have an editor open, refresh the page to see the updated selection.
