Use Kartra AI to write emails

Learn how to use Kartra AI to generate and refine content for emails.

Kartra AI is available in the email composer to help you generate and refine email content.

You can use Kartra AI when creating an email in both Text and Rich HTML modes.

When using Rich HTML mode, add your template and other layout elements to the composer first. Once the structure of the email is ready, you can use Kartra AI to generate the email content.

If you're creating multiple versions of an Email with a Split Test, you can use Kartra AI separately for each version.

Open Kartra AI

To access Kartra AI:

  1. Open an email and go to the message composition screen.

  2. Click Generate with AI to open the Kartra AI writing assistant.

Generate email content

In the AI panel, enter a prompt describing the content you want Kartra AI to create.

Make your request as specific as possible. Include relevant information such as titles, dates, discount codes, or discount amounts that should appear in the email.

Before submitting your prompt:

  1. Select a tone to influence how the generated content sounds.

  2. Select a language for the generated content.

  3. Choose whether to include your AI Business Settings in the request.

  4. Click Use Kartra AI.

The generated content automatically populates in the email composer.

Refine AI-generated content

You can edit generated content directly in the email composer or ask Kartra AI to refine it.

To refine the content:

  1. Enter instructions in the AI panel describing the changes you want. For example, you can ask Kartra AI to make it shorter, use simpler language, or use bullet points.

  2. Click Regenerate to replace the existing content with the new results.

  3. Continue refining the content as needed, or click Accept content when you're satisfied with the result.

Review the message carefully to make sure the generated content is correct and complete. You can continue editing it manually before saving or sending the email.

Keep in mind:

When you regenerate or refine the results, all content fields are refreshed.

If you want to keep part of the initially generated content, such as the subject line or email body, copy it somewhere else before regenerating.
