CAPTCHA is a verification test designed to block bot entries by confirming that a form is being submitted by a human. This can dramatically reduce the number of spam leads created in your account.
A CAPTCHA field can be added to Forms, Surveys, and Product checkout forms.
Example of the CAPTCHA challenge in a Kartra form:
Add CAPTCHA to opt-in forms
Go to Contacts > Forms and click the name of the form you want to edit
On the Design page, click Customize to open the builder
Click Fields in the left-side menu to edit the submission fields
Click + New field
Select My existing fields and select Captcha from the Field identifier drop-down.
Click Save to close the field selection window.
Click Actions > Save & Exit to close the form builder when ready
Pro tip
Kartra automatically keeps bots at bay with a honeypot field, without requiring visitors to complete visual challenges. You can still add CAPTCHA for an extra layer of security.
Add CAPTCHA to surveys and quizzes
Go to Contacts > Surveys and click the name of the survey or quiz you want to edit
On the Questions page, click Edit to open the builder
In the left sidebar, click ID Form

Hover over the form fields shown in the survey canvas to access the orange configuration menu
Click the pencil icon to edit the ID Form fields
Click + Add field
Select My existing fields and select Captcha from the Field identifier drop-down
Click Apply to save the form settings
Click Actions > Save & Exit in the top right of the screen to exit the survey builder
