Email templates let you save an email design and reuse it when creating other emails in Kartra.
You can use templates with Emails, Sequence emails, and Email Notifications. This makes it easier to reuse designs and maintain consistent branding across the different types of emails you send from Kartra.
Templates are useful when you want to:
Save time by reusing content and designs instead of starting from scratch.
Keep your branding, layout, and messaging consistent across emails.
Reduce repetitive work when you regularly send similar messages.
Give team members an established design to work from.
You can customize the content of a template each time you use it.
Save an email as a template
You can save a template while working in the Kartra email editor.
Open the email you want to use as the basis for your template.
Select Edit message to open the email editor.
Customize the content, layout, branding, and other elements you want to reuse.
Open the Actions menu in the top-right corner.
Select Save as template.
The template is then available under My templates when you create or customize other emails.
Use a template for an Email or Sequence Email
When creating an Email or adding an email to a Sequence, the template selection option will show right away:
Select My templates.
Choose the template you want to use.
Edit the content or design as needed for the new email.
You can also switch to another template after you've entered the email editor.
Replace a template in the email editor
If you're already working in the email editor and want to use a different template:
Click Replace template in the top-left corner of the email editor.
Select a Kartra template or one of your saved templates.
Continue editing the email as needed.
This option is available when working with Emails, Sequence emails, and Email Notifications.
Use a template for an Email Notification
Email Notifications work slightly differently because the available Notifications already exist in Kartra. You don't choose a template when initially creating a Notification.
Instead:
Open the Email Notification you want to customize.
Open the email editor.
Select Replace template.
Choose a Kartra template or one of your saved templates.
Customize the content and design as needed.
