Prevent bot spam with CAPTCHA

A CAPTCHA field can be added to Forms, Surveys, and Product checkout forms.

Example of the CAPTCHA challenge in a Kartra form:

Add CAPTCHA to opt-in forms

1. Go to Forms and locate the form you want to edit.
2. Click the three dots on the asset tile and select Edit.
3. At the Form fields step, open the Form fields module.
   
   
4. Click + New field.
   • Select My existing fields and select Captcha from the Field identifier drop-down.
   • Click Save to close the field selection window.
5. Save the Form fields module.
6. Click Save and Next to progress through the Form wizard until it is complete.

Add CAPTCHA to surveys and quizzes

1. Go to Surveys and locate the survey or quiz you want to edit.
2. Click the three dots on the asset tile and select Edit.
3. At the Contents step, click Launch builder.
4. In the left sidebar, click ID Form.
   • Identification must be toggled ON to access the ID Form.
5. Hover over the form fields shown in the survey canvas to access the orange configuration menu.
   
   
6. Click the pencil icon to edit the ID Form fields.
7. Click + Add field.
8. Select My existing fields and select Captcha from the Field identifier drop-down.
9. Click Apply to save the form settings.
10. Click Actions > Save & Exit in the top right of the screen to exit the survey builder.
11. Click Save and Next to progress through the Survey wizard until it is complete.

Add CAPTCHA to checkout forms

1. Go to Products and locate the product you want to edit.
2. Click the Edit button on the asset module.
3. At the Checkout step, open the Checkout form fields module.
   
   
4. Click + Add field.
5. Select My existing fields and select Captcha from the Field identifier drop-down.
6. Click Save to close the field selection window.
7. Save the Checkout form fields module.
8. Click Save and Next to progress through the Product wizard until it is complete.
