Pause your subscription payments and freeze your account from your account Billing page.
Freezing your account works similarly to cancelling it, with one important difference: your content remains safely stored on our servers and won’t be deleted. Your card on file will continue to be billed monthly for the storage fee, plus any applicable taxes.
This is the best option if you plan to return to Kartra later and want to preserve your account content and setup.
While your account is frozen, you can still:
- Update your credit card information
- Update your email address and password
- Access the Affiliate section
Your content will remain safe, but it will not be publicly accessible while the account is frozen.
Freeze your account
In your Kartra account:
- Click the Profile avatar in the top right corner of the dashboard
- Select Billing from the dropdown menu
- On the billing page, locate your current plan and click Cancel

- In the cancel pop-up, select Freeze my account
- Tick the checkbox to accept the terms and conditions of the change
- Select your reason for freezing from the dropdown menu (Optional)
- Click Confirm at the top right
Once confirmed, you will see a banner at the top of your account notifying you that the freeze is pending. The account will be frozen at the end of the current billing cycle.
If you change your mind, you can go back to your billing page at any time to reverse the freeze request (if it is still pending) or reactivate from a frozen state. Click Keep using Kartra on your Billing page to cancel a pending freeze request.
