If a team member loses their password, they can change it using the forgotten password reset tool on the login page, or it can be changed by the account owner in the team member management area.


Reset team member password as the member

  1. Follow the general password reset instructions from the Kartra login screen.
    • Enter the email address associated with your team member profile. If you don't remember it, check with the account owner to confirm the address used for your credentials.

Update team member password as the account owner

To add a team member to your account:

  1. Click the Profile avatar in the top-right corner of your account
  2. Select Team members
  3. Locate the member you want to modify and click the pencil icon button next to their username
  4. Enter a new password and click Edit to save the profile
  5. Give the password to your team member

Important:

  • Your team member will not receive an email or any notification that their password has changed. You must communicate the new password to them.
  • Passwords are hashed once saved in the profile, meaning you can no longer view or retrieve them. Forgotten passwords must be fully reset — not even a Kartra support representative can tell you what a password is.
