AI is available in the page builder and everywhere emails or SMS messages are composed in your account. Look for the AI magic icon!
The results produced by Kartra AI are influenced by your input in two areas:
- AI business settings for your account.
- Writing prompts entered in a page, email, or SMS builder each time you run the AI tool.
Configuring AI Business Settings
In your account: Settings > AI business settings
Kartra AI works best when you provide it with up-front information about your brand.
Give the AI knowledge about your business goals and target customers, then watch it apply that knowledge to the content it writes for you. Go to your account Settings to update the AI business settings.
Select your industry and answer questions about your business:
- What products or services do you offer?
- Who are your audience and customers?
- How would you describe your business? (what problem do you solve, vision, what makes it unique)
Make sure your entries are relevant to any product or service you offer. The AI business settings can be used any time you use AI in your account. You will have the option to toggle the business settings on or off each time you use AI to generate new content.
Creating a Writing Prompt
In your account:
- Pages
- Broadcasts (Email or SMS)
- Sequences (Email or SMS)
- and all other email composers
Start the AI writing tool:
- In Pages, click the AI button in the side menu to launch.
- In an email or SMS composer, click the Generate with AI button in the top right.
In the Kartra AI window, enter a prompt to tell the AI what you want to say. The more detailed and specific it is, the better results you’ll receive.
- Imagine you’re briefing your writing assistant to help them understand the purpose of your message, the most important facts to include, and the tone of voice you want them to use.
- Use specific words that help the AI understand what you want to say, how you want to say it, and who you’re speaking to. Example:
Write a promotional email targeting prospects who attended my webinar. Use bullet points to outline the benefits of my course. Include the promo code SPRING15 for 15% off.
After entering your request, use the toggle to choose whether to include your AI business settings in the request.
- If AI business settings are toggled ON, the results will reflect a combination of the information you provided about your business in Settings in addition to the request you just wrote.
- If AI business settings are toggled OFF, only the request entered in the builder will be used to create the results.
When Kartra AI has processed your prompt, you can accept the results, keep the previous version, or fine-tune the content by requesting an adjustment.
Pro tip
AI content should always be used as a first draft – your writing assistant is really helpful, but they’re not ready for a promotion to “expert” just yet.
Review the copy to ensure it is accurate, appropriate for your audience, and covers all the important details.
