Upload files to your account to create download links for use in pages, memberships, emails, and more.
To host a file in your account:
- Go to Media > Files
- Click the Upload button in the bottom right of your screen
- In the pop-up window, select a category or click "Manage categories" to create a new one
- Click Upload File to browse your computer and select the file to upload
- Edit the name of the file or category (Optional)
- Click Upload File again to add more files to the upload
- Click Next to start uploading the selected file(s)
Note: If the uploaded file has an image file type, you will find it stored under Media > Images. Similarly, if the file is an audio or video type, they will be stored in their respective sections.
The maximum file size for an upload is 999MB. Script or code files cannot be uploaded.
Larger files can be compressed or broken into smaller pieces before uploading. For example, a slide deck with many high-resolution images or embedded video may have to be broken up into multiple parts.
Once uploaded, Kartra will give you a direct download URL that you can add to an email, send to someone directly, add to a button on a page in Kartra, or use anywhere it's needed. On the Files page, you can see how many times each file was downloaded.
