How to integrate WishList Member with Kartra

Create Kartra integration

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations
  2. Click + Integration in the top right
  3. In the Providers window, select WishList and click Next
    Integrate WishList with Kartra
  4. Complete the configuration:
    1. Membership name: Name your integration. This is to help you identify it in your account.
    2. URL to WishList integration: The URL is unique to each membership website. Use the link that was defined in your WishList settings. In many cases, this will be where you log in to the website as the admin.
      • Select http:// or https:// to match your site's security protocol. (Example below)
      • URL is the root of your WishList installation, similar to "yoursite.com/admin/". The exact URL varies from user to user; please ensure it is your admin root on Wordpress.
    3. API key: Paste your WishList "API Key" into the field.
    4. Click Load WishList data to load your WishList data into Kartra.
    5. Click Create in the top right corner of the window to save the configuration.

Troubleshooting WishList Member integration

If your WishList integration is not working, double-check each field in the configuration.

  • Check the URL to ensure it was copied correctly. The common issues are typos in the Wishlist integration URL or missing " / " in the URLs.
  • Check HTTP vs HTTPS to ensure the selected protocol matches the URL where WishList is installed.
  • Check the API key to ensure it was copied completely and correctly. Any missing characters will cause the integration to fail.

If you're not sure what URL to use, test a few different ones. The correct URL depends on a variety of settings managed outside of Kartra and may require some trial and error to figure out which one will work for the integration.

  • In most cases, use the URL where you log in to the website as an admin. Example: https://yoursite.com/admin/
  • In some cases, it may be the URL where users of the WishList membership log in instead.

If you are unable to find the "API Key" on WishList or have any other issues with collecting the API information, please contact WishList support.

  1. If, upon double confirming your WishList credentials and verifying you've entered them in the correct fields, the integration still wouldn't work, please contact Kartra support.
