Automations allow you to assign tags to your webinar registrants, subscribe them to lists and sequences, and set up additional actions triggered by attendee’s choices. 

  • Tags and lists serve to organize your leads into groups for easier communication.
  • Sequences are a series of emails meant to help you establish a connection with your lead.
  • Advanced automations make it possible to cause a follow-up action based on how a lead interacted with your webinar. Use automations to apply a tag, grant access to a Membership area, or a variety of other actions in your account.

Assign tags

To assign tags to webinar attendees:

  1. Click Change on the right 
  2. Select Yes, assign tags
  3. Select the tag category and name from the drop-down menu or click create new tag link on the right
  4. Click Add and then Save on the right

Subscribe to lists

To subscribe webinar attendees to a list:

  1. Click Change on the right 
  2. Select Yes, subscribe to list
  3. Select the list from the drop-down menu or click create new list link on the right
  4. Click Add and then Save on the right

Subscribe to sequence

To subscribe webinar attendees to an existing sequence:

  1. Click Change on the right 
  2. Select Yes, subscribe to sequence
  3. Select the sequence and the desired step from the drop-down menu 
  4. Click Add and then Save on the right

Basic automations

Automations make it possible to attach an action, from tagging to revoking membership access, to a lead based on how they interacted with your webinar.  

To set up a Basic automation:

  1. Click Change on the right 
  2. Click + New automation 
  3. Select the desired IF and THEN statements and click Save 
  4. Click Save on the right
