Canceled subscriptions cannot be reactivated. After cancelation, the communication between Kartra and the payment processor stops and no further billing is possible.

Kartra does not store full credit card numbers, even for active subscriptions. All payment data is securely stored by your integrated payment processor, and subscription billing is handled directly through their system.

To reinstate a cancelled customer:

  • A new subscription purchase must be made for the product.
  • The purchase authorizes a new recurring billing agreement.
  • The subscription will have a new unique subscription ID number.

Pro tip

Advise the customer to purchase with the same email address used previously. This will keep both subscriptions associated with the same lead in your account.

When your customer buys a new subscription, edit it to adjust the pricing or next rebill date if needed. For example, you may need to adjust the number of remaining installment payments due.

  1. Go to Products > Analytics > Subscriptions.
  2. Find your customer’s new active subscription.
  3. Click on the Subscription ID to open the details.
  4. Click the pencil icon in the Subscription pricing module to edit.
