This article explains how your email recipients can manage their subscriptions to your lists.
People who subscribe to your emails can manage their preferences in two ways:
- Clicking the one-click unsubscribe link at the top of the email. Learn more about list-unsubscribe.
- Clicking Unsubscribe or Edit your details in the footer of the email.
Every email sent from your account includes a CAN-SPAM-compliant footer with a link to a subscription management page, where your contacts can update their preferences or unsubscribe.
On the subscription page
Your leads can manage their subscriptions and communication preferences using the subscription page. Here, they can:
- Update or remove contact details they previously provided.
- Unsubscribe from any list or sequence they are subscribed to.
- Fully revoke consent for communication by clicking "Do not contact me again."
- Delete their profile from your database by clicking "Delete me from the database."
- Submit a spam complaint after selecting "Do not contact" or "Delete me."
These options help you stay compliant with data privacy regulations and ensure you maintain good relationships with your contacts. Allowing recipients to manage their consent is crucial for sending commercial marketing emails.

- Result: The contact will be added back to your account, with updated communication preferences based on the new form submission. Deleted contacts will be reactivated, and blocked contacts will be cleared for future communications.
