Promote higher access levels

Use locked post teasers inside your membership to highlight advanced content, bonus modules, or premium lessons that become available at higher access levels.

Key details

• Locked posts: Posts are locked when the member doesn’t have the required access level or when a drip schedule hasn’t released them yet. 
• Teaser pop-ups: Appear when members click a locked post.
• Upgrade links: Teasers can link directly to a checkout page for the next access level.

Enable and customize teaser windows

Display a post and pop a teaser window for upselling. 

1. Go to Memberships in your Kartra dashboard.
2. Click your membership’s name and select the Access tab.
3. Click Change to edit the Managing locked posts module.
4. Select Posts outside the user’s access level.
   
5. In the dropdown next to each post, choose Display post, and pop a teaser window.
   

To style your teaser window:

1. Click the pencil icon next to the dropdown.
   
2. Choose a template for your pop-up.
   
3. Edit the template to match your branding:
   • Replace the image
   • Edit the text
   • Adjust colors or layout
4. Select your button settings:
   • Text
   • Link (paste the URL to a checkout or sales page)
   • Color
5. Save your changes.
