Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a security system that requires you to provide multiple, distinct forms of identification in order to access something.
In addition to your email address and password, Kartra requires a time-limited passcode to login to your account. You can choose whether the passcode is sent to your email or generated by an authenticator app on your mobile phone.
In this article:
Email MFA is turned on by default for your account. You can add an authentication app as an additional factor and keep both active or enable the mobile app and turn off email authentication.
Choose either method, but you must have at least one active.
Enable mobile app authentication
How does mobile app MFA work? With mobile app authentication turned on, you will be asked to enter a one-time code to finish logged in to your account. The code is generated by an app on your mobile phone that is linked during the setup process – open the app to get a new code each time you log in.
- Go to your account Profile
- Click Enable mobile app
- Enter your current password in the pop-up window and click Log out to log out of Kartra

- Click Continue
