Set up and manage your membership’s access levels to control which members can view each post.
Access levels are the foundation of your membership’s structure: they define who can see what before drip schedules or progress rules apply.
Use access levels to:
- Create content tiers (e.g. Basic, Pro, Premium) within one membership
- Offer different pricing or upgrade paths
- Release new lessons as members progress
- Grant free or manual access for partners, testers, or staff
If you’re new to membership structure, learn more about access, progress, and visibility to understand how access levels fit into your overall setup.
Key details:
- Access options: You can create up to 10 levels. Members can hold several levels at once.
- Per-post control: Assign access at the post level (categories and subcategories always appear in the menu, but only posts can be restricted).
- Password protection: Applies to the whole membership, not individual levels.

To test your membership:
- Grant access to test contacts to different access levels.
- Log in as each test contact to see what’s visible.
Troubleshooting tip:
If a post isn’t showing for a member, check both the assigned access level and any drip or progress settings that could delay its release.
