Kartra Sites let you group pages under a site name and then import and export shared elements like navigation menus or tracking codes across multiple pages. This helps simplify updates to global elements of a site.

Pro tips

  • Sites are like folders for organizing pages in a campaign or project. They don’t automatically link pages together like a traditional website.
  • Use header/footer navigation menus to link pages and create a seamless website experience.
  • Sites aren’t just for creating websites! Use them to organize the pages for any project in your account.

Add pages to a Site

Assign pages to the Site folder in one of two places:

Option 1: Select a Site from the drop-down menu on the launch screen when you open or create a page. When a site is selected, an option to import global elements appears.

Option 2: Inside the page builder, click Sites in the left side menu

  1. Select a Site from the drop-down menu
  2. Click Apply to assign the page

When a page has been assigned to a Site, the Sites panel converts to a management screen where you can sync global elements.

Remove pages from a Site

To remove pages from a site, go to Pages > All pages.

  1. Click Manage sites below the Sites drop-down filter.

  2. Locate the Site you want to edit and click the pencil icon in the Actions column

  3. Click the drop-down menu to see the pages assigned to the site

  4. Click to deselect pages to remove them
  5. Click the checkmark to save your changes and Done to close the window

Note: Removing a page from a site doesn’t automatically remove synced elements. Manually delete unwanted menus, styles, or content by opening and editing the page.

Elements you can import/export between pages in a site:

  • Styles: Default and custom (edit under Styles in the page builder).
  • SEO & Tracking Codes: Manage in Settings.
  • Header, Footer, Bottom Bar: Add/edit in page sections.
  • Helpdesk: Add/edit in Settings.
  • Popups: Manage landing and exit popups in Settings.
